How It Works

WHO WE ARE:

Color Me Mine is a paint your own pottery studio.  You can choose from a variety of pottery pieces to paint any way that you want. We glaze and fire your finished pieces and will have them ready for pick up in 5-7 Days.

  • Walk in to paint, no reservations needed!
  • Studio Hours: Monday-Saturday 10Am-8Pm, Sunday 11AM-6PM

 

DURING YOUR VISIT:

  •  Our staff  will guide you through the painting process, answer questions and assist with paint techniques.
  • All ages are welcome in the studio and we are a handicap accessible space.
  • You will have full access to all of our studio materials, including paints, detail bottles and design materials including silkscreens, stencils, tape, technique supplies, etc.
  • When you are finished, we do all of the clean up. It’s that easy!
  • You leave your pieces with us and we will contact you in about a week for pick up.

 

PRICING:

  •  We charge a $10 Studio fee per person plus the price of pottery. Pottery pricing starts at $20 on upward. The studio fee covers all of your materials, paint, glazing and firing.
  • We offfer specialty paints( glitter, speckled,elements, etc.) for an additional $2.
  • No charge if you need to return to finish your piece.

FIRED POTTERY PICK UP:

  • Fired pottery is usually ready for pick up 5-7 days after your visit. We will send you a text for pick up when your pottery is ready.
  • We hold finished pottery for 30 days after you have been contacted for pick up.
  • If you can’t make it to pick up within the 30 day period please call the studio at 503-867-2550 and we will extend the hold time.
  • Pottery that is not picked up within the 30 day period will be considered abandoned and will be donated. We do not refund abandoned pottery.

 

RE-DOS & REFUND POLICY

There are times when glazing issues occur through no fault of the customer or our studio. If a piece comes out of our kiln with any of the following issues that we are unable to fix we offer a studio credit for the price of the piece. This BooBoo coupon will be attached to the bag of pottery upon pick up and can be used on a return visit within 90 days of the date issued.

  • Shivering- When the glaze looks like it has chipped off of the pottery
  • Cracks and breakage  that may occur during  or after firing
  • Crawling- the appearance after firing of generally irregularly-shaped bare or almost bare patches of the underlying clay body, surrounded by a somewhat thicker outline of the glaze.
  •  We DO NOT offer monetary refunds on fired pottery pieces.

 

STUDIO HOURS:

  • Monday- Saturday: 10am-8pm
  • Sunday: 11am-6pm
  • Final seating for painters is one hour before close.
